Sarah Jo Design is a full-service custom stationery and production studio, offering design services ranging from save-the-dates to invitations to day-of design production.
Your wedding stationery sets the tone for your event, and I aim to create not just beautiful paper that encapsulates your wedding vibe but also a timeless keepsake for you and your loved ones to cherish for years to come.
I am devoted to my art, but above all, I cherish the opportunity to document a couple's love through a tangible heirloom that endures. I am excited to work with you on your invitation suite and share this special experience together.

Wedding invitations should typically be mailed 6–8 weeks before your wedding date. This gives your guests enough time to make travel arrangements, RSVP, and plan for your celebration. For destination weddings or weddings with many out-of-town guests, consider sending invitations 10–12 weeks in advance.
Before mailing your invitations, we recommend ordering your stationery early enough to allow time for design, printing, assembly, addressing, and postage. Ideally, your wedding invitations should be ordered 8-12 months before your wedding.
You generally need one wedding invitation per household or invited couple—not one invitation per guest. Before placing your order, create your guest list and group guests who will be receiving a single invitation together. Then add approximately 10–15% extra invitations to account for last-minute additions, addressing mistakes, keepsakes, or guests whose invitations may get lost in the mail.
For example, if you have 150 guests but many are attending as couples or families, you may only need around 90–110 invitation suites.
We truly hope to capture your unique love story through a beautifully-crafted suite, that will provide your guests with a first glimpse of the most special day of your life.
As your guests receive a personalized, calligraphy-addressed envelope with their name, open the envelope to find a romantic, organic design that captures their attention, or glide their hands across letterpressed text, we want them to have an experience with your wedding stationery.
LISTEN. Sarah is AMAZING. First of all, I came at her with 19281271631 ideas and no clarity and somehow she took that and ran with it. And then I changed my mind (yes-- I was THAT bride). And once again, Sarah took my ramblings and made them into something SO beautiful and unique. The invite suite she crafted was completely original and did an amazing job of bringing our "wedding brand" to life while also getting people hyped for the wedding itself. We went with totally non-traditional copy and Sarah raaannnn with it. We're super obsessed and kept several copies for ourselves because we LOVE them. Our photographer was gushing over them too. I can't recommend her enough for her vision, style, profesh-ness and overall ability to set the tone for your big day.
Sarah made our wedding day (and our wedding planning process) an absolute dream. She made every detail of our day look better than we ever could have imagined and she captured our personalities perfectly. No one tells you when you're planning your wedding how important it is to connect with the people involved in the process, and having Sarah be such a huge part of our day, our planning and the memories that come with them, was one of the best (and first!) decisions we made. We are forever indebted to Sarah for making the best day of our lives look better than we ever could have dreamed of, and if you're still debating on whether to hire her, let me go ahead and make your decision for you - Sarah is your girl.
